TESTS ON EMULSION
An Emulsion is a mixture of two immiscible liquids, one of which is dispensed in the other in the form of very fine particles. The process of emulsification is accomplished by use of an Emulsifier and a Stabilizer. We at SMRPCL provide the consultancy for following tests on Emulsion.
- Viscosity by Say bolt Viscometer.
- Residue on 600 micron IS Sieve (% by mass).
- Coagulation of Emulsion at low temperature.
- Storage Stability after 24 hours (%).
- Coating Ability and Water Resistance.
- Stability to mixing with Cement (% Coagulation).
- Residue by Evaporation, (%).
- Miscibility with water.
- Determination of particle charge
